Today, I bought a Princess Leia action figure complete in slave outfit from Star Wars: The Return of the Jedi. The first thought is why someone over the age of 40 would purchase this particular item now. Particularly when that person is not one of these Star Wars or sci-fi freaks. Of course a good percentage of any male of Generation X will admit that Carrie Fisher as Princess Lei in that outfit is a fantasy for many.

The Star Wars franchise has become the latest victim of social justice warriors and feminists.  Now one would believe that George Lucas beloved franchise wouldn’t be the target of any attacks from the liberals. New Star Wars franchise owner Disney has ordered all merchandise of Princess Leia in the slave outfit will be terminated. Some of this is a result of an incident in a Target stored in Philadelphia during the summer. A father spotted and his response was "It's completely inappropriate." What is so inappropriate about this? Because Princess Leia is depicted in a bikini slave outfit complete with chain? It was an integral part of the story, and of course the social justice warriors went on the offensive.

To further validate the story Star War comic artist J. Scott Campbell indicated in a social media post that Marvel artists are no longer permitted to display Princess Leia in this outfit but any sexy poses as well. Campbell also indicates that he believes that the Princess Leia in this outfit will be banned by Disney altogether just fulfill the demands of the whiny social justice warriors.

Social Justice Warriors have frequently shown their true liberal, socialist, communist colors on many occasions. Has a well-known character from science fiction franchise become another victim of the #SJWs? This is just another sample of the hypocrisy of the liberal’s #sjws because their continual response is to have something banned or removed just because they find it unacceptable or offensive. And instead of just ignoring it like someone with common sense that finds something unacceptable. Instead the SJWs start their attacks, not only on social media but they take it to next level instead. They threaten someone’s private life and livelihood if someone outwardly doesn’t agree with them.

Princess Leia in the slave outfit from Return of the Jedi is an icon from that film and that franchise. But because all the diaper wearing, whiny, social justice warriors, slobbering over their keyboards with their false outrage over something that has been around for 30 plus years and has not been a problem until recently. All of a sudden it’s a problem because some have found it to be “offensive” or “demeaning” in some way. Social media speculates that Disney make take it to another level and digitally change Leia’s outfit in Return of the Jedi

This is just a perfect example of how the liberalism is just slowly destroying our society that is headed down that swirling toilet drain where deviant behavior is acceptable. A good example is how Bruce Jenner is said to be a woman and brave and etc. Yet, this is all based on a lie because Bruce Jenner still has male sex characteristics and is technically still a male. Regardless of what the outward wrapper appears to be. But what would be considered a valid aspect of a story that results in a sexy strong woman fighting back. But instead, the social justice warrior liberals would prefer to have a victim instead of someone who actually defends themselves to free themselves after buying their time.

The Balkanization

How very appropriate that George Santayana and Kurt Vonnegut are very accurate in their statements above. The sad part is we are slowly seeing history once again repeating itself and right now people are too blind to see what is happening. Let’s begin with a little bit of a history lesson shall we. It is very commonly known and inaccurate that the American Civil War occurred over slavery. This is partially true but there were other factors that contributed to the War Between the States. Some of these factors beyond the slavery issue were economic issues and states’ rights. Much of these sentiments are what drove the Southern states to secede from the Union. It has been 150 years since the end of the American Civil War and yes some of the issues from that time continue to crop up now and then. But that is just part of a civilized society. 

 

However, recent events…maybe 10-20 years’ worth are pushing the United States into a very treacherous direction. There seems to be extreme responses to almost everything objectionable. Take the most recent decision by the Supreme Court that gay marriage be legal in all 50 states. This was sort of a no brainer that the Supreme Court comes down with this decision. And good for these people to not be discriminated against. 

 

Another example is the circus the media is creating over the Confederate Flag, as usual the liberals are coming out saying its offensive and racist. Of course this is the usual MO of a liberal because anything that they find objectionable or hurtful should be erased from the existence. I have news for your people, life is not all lollipops and candy land. Life is hard, and part of living in a free society is that there are some things in life you will not like or find objectionable. And one needs to learn to be more “tolerant” which the left likes to preach but they are not as “tolerant” unless they get what they want. 

 

Which brings me to my point, because of the left and their need to bully to get what they want. They are no better than the Bolsheviks or Stalin. Because they have the mentality of “its their way or the highway”. Yet, they are a bunch of hypocrites that speak about tolerance and etc, yet they are the least tolerant and want to cleanse the society. The two samples above are only part of what is happening, thanks to the liberal left. There is a balkanization of our country and it is becoming ever larger.


And it just not the two events above, there are many more that are just leading to a very bad end result which could find us repeating history once again.

Constitutional Rights

So SCOTUS Ruled in favor for Same-Sex Marriage. Congratulations to all those of you who fought to earn that right. So based on that same 14th Amendment that was used to grant you the rights to marry your life partner we as law abiding citizens should and must be allowed to legally carry a gun.

Hey SCOTUS thank you for opening the door for open and concealed carry. If you can wave your magic wand and site an abstract part of an amendment to legalize Same sex marriage then you have to allow citizens to carry their legally owned fire arm.

Why you ask. SCOTUS cited the following to legalize same sex marriage.
No state shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States. So our rights as a U.S. Citizen to keep and bare arms must not be infringed. It says it right in the second amendment.

The Second Amendment of the United States Constitution reads: "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.


The right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed. So I say to you all. Congrats on your right to same sex marriage. Now acknowledge and accept my right to keep and bear Arms. - Dan

Supreme Court ruling on Same-Sex Marriage

Normally, I do not touch subjects like this as they cause an incredible amount of angst and hysteria. But, after watching all the hysteria on the news outlets (all of which I am really starting to hate because they ALL distort the information to further their own agendas. Personally, I do not see a problem with the most recent ruling from the Supreme Court for same-sex marriage. Like or not, if anyone did not think that they would have ruled this way is an idiot. It is just pure and simple common sense as all same-sex couples wanted is the same equality as opposite-sex couples. From what I can see the Supreme Court is just saying that the same-sex couples have a right to marry from a state law perspective, not a religious one. Through all the hysteria, I do not see anywhere that it says that religious liberties are going to be violated or these organizations are going to be forced to perform same-sex marriages. Most religious organizations do not accept or recognize homosexuality so I can’t see a same-sex couple wanting to force this upon a religious organization. On the other hand there are people and groups that will attempt to do this just to be assholes and stir up controversy. The ruling today is more of a rights issue in regard to the state and not religion.
